Hello boys, hello girls !

I haven't seen any messages about getting Scoop to display in other languages (French, Spanish and others).

I ask this question not because i'd like this feature to be done for next monday :o), but because i'd like to help coding for this purpose (i'm French and cannot read/write any English. (great joke isn't it ?! :o(() ).

Bye bye.

it shouldn't be too hard (3.00 / 1) (#1)

Almost everything is governed through the blocks and boxes, so you would just have to change those to read in a different language. I'm sure you would have a couple places in the code where there is some html hardcoded, but it shoudn't be too bad. But you shouldn't have to change any code to make it work

I would be interested to translate it to Spanish (none / 0) (#5)
by satch on Sat Dec 30, 2000 at 10:51:22 AM PST

Hi, I began I few days ago my diary in k5, quite surprising response. Well, I wrote in Spanish and it seemed quite strange to some people so I thought about adding multilanguage support, a client for diaries, etc. Everything seems to be in some stage of development and I'd like to contribute to both projects. As my coding habilities are quite poor, I'd prefer translating the text. Anyway I have experience with HTML, and some XML. Also PHP, but Perl always has been confusing to me. If this can be helpful to someone I'd be glad to help
