Story in moderation Polls Bugs

When viewing stories in the moderation queue, the polls do not include a Vote button. There is a radio option setup for the poll options (for me to choose), but below them is the Results | Other Polls without a Vote Button.

This does not happen with stories on the front page or in diaries. I've logged in/out, deleted cookies, refreshed caches and nothing works. But in, say, the story (which will most like be passed moderation by the time you read this) Christmas Presents time again, if i were to take off the "&mode=moderate" at the end of the url, i would be able to vote on the poll (the top part with the option group would remain the same, and above the "Results | Other Polls" links would be a Vote button which would record my vote when pressed).

I haven't been able to test this on scoop.kuro5hin.org yet but i'm going to add a pointless poll to this write up and i'll see if i can vote on the story while it's in the mod queue.

No vote button here either (none / 0) (#1)

Just wondering if it was a configuration or individual cookie thing.

But removing the "&mode=moderate" from the end allowed me to vote.

This was posted to the front page *extremely* quickly.

Does that have something to do with the fact that there are only 58 users?

Default setting (none / 0) (#4)
by hurstdog on Tue Dec 05, 2000 at 11:51:17 AM PST

The default setting is to not allow voting in the polls, and yesterday me and Rusty wiped out the poll_box he has on k5 and replaced it with the default, to allow previewing of attached polls. So thats just one little thing that slipped by. Thanks for the update, me or Rusty will fix it shortly. Its just removing a conditional iirc.
