when I see that most of the hacks are:
  • Not used by anyone
  • Not commited in cvs
  • Discarded without giving a reason (like not needed/not clean code/non-scoop-standard-code)

...because there's some feature that you want, and isn't already in there. Make sure that it can be a "compile time option" (I mean... "config-time option") and post the diff's to this scoop site. Then complain until somebody commits it. If it still doesn't get committed, oh well. At least you've done your part, and you can use it on your own scoop site. --Robert

Let's say that we managed to hack into Scoop, then what? The edu birdie review taught me that there's a thing such as ethical hacking done because of a reason. If there's no reason, then why even bother?
