A mysql bug in the nightly build... Bugs

After an embarrassingly long time of trying to install the nightly build of scoop (I'd rather not say just how long ;), something occurred to me: This time, it might not be just my newbieness at fault.

When trying to install the nightly build, I got a SQL syntax error. (see below) I'm a bit of a newbie to linux/mysql/scoop so at first I thought it was my fault. After eventually trying the stable .8 version and succeeding without problem, I'm now guessing that's not the case.

Lesson learned: Use the stable version before playing with the development one.

That doesn't look like a problem with the nightly build. I just ran one a few days ago and it worked out without any problems. If you have more problems, drop by #scoop and I'll see if I (or someone else) can help you. Because the latest builds have a *lot* more features than the 0.8.1 release. =)

I experienced the same thing yesterday when installing the latest build.

Commenting out the '----' lines seemed to do the trick (i.e. the site is working fine now). I don't know if this problem is caused by using mysql 4.0 dumps with a 3.23 server?
