ExperimentBank is a site for the free exchange, review and discussion of novel scientific experiments. The purpose of this site is to encourage communication and creativity within the scientific community, by allowing anyone to submit ideas for experiments for peer review and comment.

| Because scientific experiments can take years to complete, and often require specialized knowledge or tools, most scientists have many ideas that they can't follow up. ExperimentBank allows people to submit ideas for interesting experiments that could enhance scientific knowledge, so that others may have the opportunity to do the research. Peer review is also very important to science, and the Scoop system of moderation and commenting is ideal for community peer review of an experimental idea.The hope is that ideas can be enhanced through the constructive criticism of other scientists. |
