Color Customization Themes

I've installed scoop and not having much trouble with it. Most of the admin tools are farily easy to use and the Admin guide really helps. My question concerns customization of the colours, and annoying problem I've got with link colours.

It's a simple problem, really. While I have figured out how to customize the colours of the site, I have not been able to find a block that would allow me to change the default link colour, so all link colours remain #006699, while the main colours have changed. I've looked through everything on this site, the Admin guide, and the block editor, but still can't figure out how to change the link colour. Anyone have an idea? I figure this is a pretty basic option, since all all scoop sites are able to customize their link colours. Help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Look at the block called default_template. Near the top you should see your standard <BODY> tag, etcetera. Good luck with your new site!

Problem with templates (none / 0) (#4)
by johnnyc on Mon Mar 11, 2002 at 02:58:12 PM PST

Seems my problem is not what I originally supposed. One poster to my question suggested I should look at the default_template in the block editor and edit the values accordingly. This is what I figured I should do too, but the problem is I can't see some templates. When I get the "default_template" template in the block editor, the "value" field is empty with nothing to edit. This is also true for the index_template, story_template, submitrdf_template, and submit_template.

I have no idea what could be causing this. Seems to be the only hiccup in my installation so far. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
