Vote for polls? Feature Requests

How about a feature where users can submit poll ideas for the frontpage. And then vote on them.

Someone would submit a poll. And it would go into the mod que just like stories.
It would have 3 options. Post, Don't care, and Dump.

The only thing that needs a bit more thought is the fact that there is only one poll at a time, and they change after a set period. You might end up with a ever growing que of polls. And I'm not sure if there is a simple way around that.

It would be neat (none / 0) (#1)

I think that'd be neat, but I don't have the time to code it right now. Also, I think it would be rather difficult until we do a little refactoring of the polling code. I readily admit that I was not as good a coder back then. Alright so its downright ugly. But suggestion taken, and if someone wants to code it, cool. Otherwise I'll slate it for this summer sometime.
