Sections with different view Feature Requests

I would like to have the sections look different. If one could have a different "scoop_intro" block for each section, that would be nice. That way one could choose to make the left table unique for each section. Has anybody done that?

But its something we have planned. I think you mean something like this, which would allow exactly that. Nobody is working on it yet, but it will come, eventually :)

Couldn't a box be made to include the description field from the section admin page?
(I wouldn't actually know how to do it, but it seems to me that it would be doable in a 0.8 install.)
