Documentation Topic Feature Requests

My installation of scoop is already a couple of days old but still the painful memory lingers. Perhaps the only way to purge myself of these emotions is to write them down for others to see. But where do I post them? They are not bugs. They are not new code. They are not even feature requests. Hopefully though, they can make the journey a little less painful for those still to come.

Having only recently installed scoop, I wanted to sumit a story documenting some problems I encountered when compiling apache with both php and mod_perl along with the solutions i found for those problems. I couldn't decide out what topic to post it under. There really isn't a topic for documentation.

How about adding a new documentation topic?

I'm new around here, and I don't know much about the level of expertise of most of y'all. mine isn't the highest, and the level of newcomers is only going to get lower as scoop is adopted by more and more people. As this happens, documentation is going to get more and more important. My guess is that i'm not gonna be submitting much new code any time soon, but I am willing to work on documentation.

So, what's the scoop with documentation around here? How does one volunteer to work on documentation for scoop?

And, how about that documentation topic?

I'm adding the documentation topic just after I post this. And if you want to contribute docs, just write them up, and send them in! Or email me ( hurstdog @ kuro5hin.org ), rusty ( rusty @ kuro5hin.org ), or the scoop help list ( scoop-help @ lists.sourceforge.net ) and ask what needs to be documented, so we don't have any duplication of efforts going on, since I think someone else was going to try to contribute some docs too.
